An Era of Hope and Awareness Beckons
A vision to create wellness and raise awareness about cervical cancer has driven Tresna Foundation to explore the realities of rural healthcare within communities. We have enthusiastically partnered with CAPED India to advance the vision of a #CervicalCancerMuktBharat.
Our collaborative efforts and extensive outreach within rural communities have significantly improved access to information and education about cervical cancer. In a short period, Team Tresna, led by Mrs. Rohini Chandra – Project Head for CAPED at Tresna Foundation, has covered the regions of Nadiad, Vaso, Mahudha, and Kathlal Talukas of Kheda District, Gujarat. We have successfully trained 44 ASHA workers at PHC Salun who are now equipped to educate women and promote early detection and screening techniques. Certificates were awarded to all participants as a token of appreciation for their dedication
As we strive to redesign lives, our collective focus is on creating a community that is well-informed about cervical cancer and actively working towards its eradication. This marks the beginning of a new era for women, where they can lead healthy and fulfilling lives through preventive measures.
