Tresna Foundation has consistently inspired change through Project Garima in rural school sanitation. The construction phase of a sanitation unit at Mishra Branch Shala, Salun, Nadiad Taluka, Kheda District begins now.
The need for improved sanitation facilities at schools was a basic requirement we lacked in. Project Garima took forth measures to create awareness about good hygiene practices and improve sanitation facilities at government schools with construction of sanitation units.
We have witnessed a dwindling dropout rate of girls in schools owing to the new sanitation facilities through Project Garima. A change from the days adolescent girls hesitated to attend schools due to lack of adequate sanitation facilities. The sharing of good hygiene practices by the young girls with women in their households brings a positive outcome too.
Today Team Tresna continues to champion quality education for girls with our esteemed CSR partner TLT TURBO INDIA PVT LTD. We hope to see a day where our girls equipped with education and awareness lead transformative changes to impact the society.
