Adolescent girls are the backbone of our society and their health and well-being are paramount.

We are happy to inform that under the Purnay Yojana, the ICDS department of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation distributed sanitary napkins for menstrual hygiene to the girls who did not go to school or dropped out. Under our project “Swabhiman”, menstrual hygiene programs have been conducted in more than 450 government schools in rural areas so far. In a single day, sanitary pads were distributed to the girls who dropped out of school in 48 wards in Ahmedabad city. In which the Tresna team and volunteers participated enthusiastically.
We thank the students and volunteers who came to Nirma Institute and PDEU College for their internships for successfully completing this mission.
