Empowering and engineering social impact

We embark on a noble pursuit of communal wellness through the initiation of bhumi pujan ceremony for construction of a sanitation unit for girls at Digvijay Vidhyalay in Manghroli, Nadiad Taluka, Kheda District, Gujarat. We at Tresna Foundation have envisioned under Project Garima the enhancing of sanitary amenities in Government schools. It is aimed to instill hygienic practices among the burgeoning student population.
The schools with poor sanitary facilities see an increase in drop rates and attendence of girls during menstruation and adolescence. It is co-related to the fear of having to experience unhygienic conditions and discomfort mingled with inhibitions and beliefs surrounding menstruation. A fact acknowledged by the social thinkers and educationists alike.
Our approach towards good health, reduced dropouts by adolescent girls from schools and education of the girl child has received unwavering assurance in the rural regions and communities. Team Tresna is working constantly towards shedding inhibitions and creating a positive impact with empowering girls.
