Menstrual Hygiene Awareness Camp at Anklav Taluka, Anand

Our Project Swabhiman has been conceptualized to assist the girl child in understanding about menstruation and following healthy hygiene practices. The threshold of adolescence often causes confusion in young girls. We ease the same with our interactive camps and encouraging active participation by the girl children.

Tresna Foundation has conducted camps at 51 schools situated at Anklav Taluka, Anand District. Project Swabhiman involved the interaction with totally 3525 girl children in the entire duration and helped them cope with the changes in adolescence. The distribution of sanitary pads for the girl children was also undertaken by our team.
