Cervical Cancer Awareness Project

Early detection to lasting wellness

Tresna Foundation collaborates with CAPED India in a bid to eradicate cervical cancer and craft a #CervicalCancerMuktBharat. Our expertise in the outreach with local communities proves beneficial for the cause.
We aspire for a positive impact in the region with the training of 22 ASHA workers from PHC Fagvel of Kathlal Taluka, Kheda District, Gujarat. The training led by Mrs. Rohini Chandra, Project Head for CAPED at Tresna Foundation has provided them with crucial knowledge to increase awareness on cervical cancer.
Today the ASHA workers can support women’s health and explain to women about the need for early screenings. Our work has seen a progressive impact as we enhance healthcare with training of ASHA workers to eradicate cervical cancer.
The ASHA workers were honored with certificates for their participation in the training program.
