Cervical Cancer Awareness Project

Health a right of every woman

Tresna Foundation in a mission to raise awareness about cervical cancer partners with CAPED India to ensure a #CervicalCancerMuktBharat. We strive to bring significant strides and spread information among rural communities through Asha workers.
Our joint efforts have led to the training of 45 Asha workers comprising 24 Asha workers from PHC Alindra and 21 from PHC Khandhli of Vaso Taluka, Kheda District, Gujarat. The ASHA workers are successfully able to raise awareness and also capable of conducting screening to ensure early detection and better outcomes.
We are overwhelmed in being a part of the larger movement to eradicate cervical cancer through the training led by Mrs. Rohini Chandra – Project Head for CAPED from Tresna Foundation and Mr. Ravi Sisodiya – Head of Operations (Implementations). By educating women in rural communities we plan to foster a culture of proactive health management.
Certificates were awarded to participants, marking a significant step forward in our fight against cervical cancer.
