Stronger communities to a new dawn
Tresna Foundation joins CAPED India in raising awareness about cervical cancer and reaching out to communities. We continue to strive nonchalantly towards a dawn of #CervicalCancerMuktBharat.
The power of education and training 44 ASHA workers – 35 from PHC Chaklasi and 9 from PHC Kanjari brings transformation for the region. Led by Mrs. Rohini Chandra, Project Head for CAPED at Tresna Foundation, the ASHA workers have received training on creating awareness about cervical cancer.
The training enhances their outreach to empower women in the region towards accessing healthcare on priority. The early detection ensures treatment and prevention of cervical cancer in the communities. The frontline workers are a powerful force in building sustainable health practices among women.
The ASHA workers were awarded Certificates, a mark of recognition of their participation in the training program.
