The gift of knowledge
A step to eradication of cervical cancer has commenced with Tresna Foundation’s commitment towards #CervicalCancerMuktBharat. We join CAPED India to focus on working at the grassroots in raising awareness on cervical cancer in rural communities.
Through the training program we have equipped totally 35 ASHA workers, being 25 ASHA workers at PHC Gogjipur and 10 of them at PHC Kathlal of Kathlal Taluka, Kheda District, Gujarat. Under the leadership of Mrs.Rohini Chandra, Project Head for CAPED at Tresna Foundation, ASHA workers have gained essential knowledge to enlighten women on cervical cancer.
The trained ASHA workers are crucial in educating women in rural areas about the importance of early detection and vital healthcare. It crafts a ripple effect to strengthen the communities, one woman’s health at a time. The ASHA workers received certificates for participation and completing the training program.
