Cervical Cancer Awareness Project

Carving change with awareness

Tresna Foundation steps ahead to work towards a future that is free from cervical cancer. The partnership with CAPED India for #CervicalCancerMuktBharat brings us good results with transformation.
The ASHA workers from the grassroots help in laying foundation for awareness, early detection and proactive care to fight against cervical cancer. Our partnering has helped to train 73 ASHA workers, 24 of PHC Alina, 3 of PHC Nani Khadol, 20 at PHC Chunel and 26 at PHC Singhali of Mahudha Taluka, Kheda District, Gujarat. The training was led by Mrs.Rohini Chandra, Project Head for CAPED at Tresna Foundation.
We aim to reshape the future of women’s health in rural areas through building resilient communities and eradication of cervical cancer. We also etch sustainable change with an opportunity to lead a life of health, dignity and hope for women.
The ASHA workers were awarded Certificates for their participation in the training program.
