Cervical Cancer Awareness Project

Education the key to prevention

Tresna Foundation is dedicated to advancing the cause of #CervicalCancerMuktBharat through our collaboration with CAPED India. In unison we drive change and improve the health and well-being of women in rural communities.
Our mission has seen 92 ASHA workers, i.e. 27 of PHC Bharkunda, 31 of PHC Pithai and 34 of PHC Chared of Kathlal Taluka, Kheda District, Gujarat receive training. With Mrs. Rohini Chandra at the helm as Project Head for CAPED at Tresna Foundation, the ASHA workers have successfully completed their training to raise awareness about cervical cancer.
The well trained ASHA workers are instrumental in ensuring women belonging to these regions have access to early detection of cervical cancer. The initiative is a powerful tool to empower women and eradicate cervical cancer in underserved areas.
The Certificates were awarded to ASHA workers in appreciation of their active participation in the training program.
