Cervical Cancer Awareness Project

“Project Swabhiman” for girls of Chaklasi of Nadiad.

“SPANDAN – The Social Club, IMNU” in association with Tresna Foundation recently conducted an awareness program on menstrual hygiene “Project Swabhiman” for girls of “Raghupura Play Centre School” and “Shree Saraswati Vidyalaya” Raghupura in Chaklasi of Nadiad. This program had a great impact on the awareness of the girls and their families.
More than half of the girls in India do not have access to proper menstrual hygiene products and education. This leaves them vulnerable to a host of health problems, including infections, reproductive tract disorders, and even cancer. The Spandan & Tresna initiative is helping to change this by providing girls with the knowledge and resources they need to manage their periods safely and hygienically. The program has already had a profound impact on the lives of the 100 girls it has reached and is helping to create a brighter future for them and their families.
